 ABOUT

Springdale20.jpg

My name is Benjamin Agdeppa and I am a landscape photographer based out of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I also specialize in astrophotography, seascapes, riverscapes, nature, automotive, and event photography. I am also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Growing up here on the Island of Hawaii has been truly a blessing in disguise. The love for the landscape and being in the outdoors had sparked my interest in photography back when I was in high school when I got my first camera. After graduating from high school, I began getting into photography more and eventually made the jump to becoming a freelance photographer in late 2016.

Since then, being a freelance photographer, I was given many opportunities to not only capture the beautiful landscapes of the island but also capture and learn the lifestyle, events, culture, and people who make the Island of Hawaii so unique and diverse in many ways. Most recently, I have begun to explore our nation’s State and National Parks and also learn the history and culture that resides within those parks.

From the white sandy beaches of Manini’owali Beach (or known as Kua Bay) to the cascading waterfalls of Onomea, the Island of Hawaii has truly a lot to offer in beauty and history. With every place rich in history and culture, I learned to Leave No Trace Behind, Respect Nature and Wildlife, and Stay on the Trail at every place I visit. I make those commitments to ensure that our future generations have something to enjoy and also pass onto others.

I follow that same code while visiting other places as well.

I learn to also give back to the community and have been involved with the following organization:

  • Member of Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden in Onomea, Hawaii

  • Volunteer Photographer for Habitat for Humanity of  Hawaii Island

  • Volunteer to the Boy Scouts of America - Aloha Council section

  • Social Media Coordinator and Photographer for St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

  • American Red Cross Volunteer - Disaster Assistance Team (DAT) - West Hawaii

Commitment to clients: Benjamin, will make sure that every project that he does exceeds every client's expectations in all aspects.
